“Coding Accuracy in the Age of Quality Measurement”

Make sure to attend HIA’s Product World Session – “Coding Accuracy in the Age of Quality Measurement.”

This presentation will demonstrate the importance of complete and accurate coding and documentation. We will review various quality measurement programs, including those in Value Based Purchasing, in order of development. Attendees will participate in discussion and learn how coding can potentially impact quality measurement statistics through specific examples.

The objective is to help bridge the gap between HIM/Coding and Quality Departments and identify quality review opportunities, both internal and external.
